DESCRIPTION:Join us on the foreshore for mangrove seedling removals (60cm and smaller). This work is undertaken to protect the ecology of the foreshore for the wide variety of birds who are in the area. The exposed lava flows are a safe roosting area for them and the mudflats provide an accessible feeding ground. \nCome along and assist with sustaining the habitat for the birds of Mangere Bridge. \nWear old clothes\, sturdy shoes like old sneakers\, reef shoes or boat shoes. Bring your own gardening gloves and a bucket if you have them. \nSee you there!
