Celebrating Matariki – the Moonlight Lantern Walk

Families gathered at Ambury Farm Park during Matariki weekend to make lanterns & enjoy a moonlit walk to the Mānukau foreshore.

It was a busy Saturday morning at Māngere Bridge Library recently when local group Friends of the Farm (FOF) ran another Repair Café

What a beautiful afternoon we enjoyed, an enthusiastic group, gathered under the shade of the feijoa trees.

Another successful day with locals helping locals keep items from the landfill by repairing them. Genius

Riders from all over the Auckland region converged on the club with floats, horses and supporters for a big day out – all wonderfully Wastewise.

World Clean Up Day was celebrated in Māngere Bridge with a “pop up clean up” organised by Friends of the Farm

Repair Cafés are free events where local people bring in their broken or damaged items and local volunteers do their best to repair them.

We had an awesome turn out of 97 people that we took exploring the Manukau Harbour via kayak…
