Māngere Bridge Fun Run/Walk

The Mangere Bridge FUN Run, Walk, Stroll and Stride is a FUN time for the whole family.

With a whole bunch of activities at Home Base (Bill and Naomi Kirk Park)  The Run, Walk, Stroll and Stride will incorporate the Village, the beautiful Kiwi Esplanade AND this year the Half Marathon will make it’s way through the fabulous Ambury Farm

This event is one that anyone can do … (Well the 5k and 10k anyway)  people of all ages and abilities can take part – from those wanting to do their first run / walk of 5k’s, through to those who want to take on “The Half”

Registration and Race Number pick up in the Naomi and Bill Kirk Park will open at 7.15am

All Runners, Walkers, Strollers and Striders need to check in on the day to get their number to be eligible for the spot prizes at the end.

• 21k (1/2 marathon) participants briefing will be at 7.45am with an 8.00am start
• 10k participants briefing will be at 8.45am – Start time is 9.00am
• 5k participants briefing will be at 9.15am – Start time is 9.30am.

This is a fun event for everyone. There will be no “winners” prizes as we are all winners for taking part. But we will have lots of spot prizes. Some we will announce before the day, some at registration and some when everyone has finished.

Those who complete the 21ks will receive a finishers Medal

There will be food and beverages in and around the Village as it is Market Day, and we will have a bouncy Castle for the kids, Face Painters, Balloon Artist and Live Entertainment

This is going to be a FUN day and we invite you to invite your family and friends to come along and have some fun together.

IMPORTANT: If you register on the day there will be a late entry fee for every participant !!!

ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE AT 5.00pm ON WEDNESDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2023

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE A COURSE CUT OFF TIME OF 12.00PM (Midday), so if you do not think you will be able to complete the 1/2 Marathon or 10k’s within the allotted time periods. please choose a shorter disatance.

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to take part in the 1/2 MARATHON

21k – Half Marathon – Yellow Arrows – $45 entry fee until
20th September cut off – then $55 on the day

You must follow the instructions of all Traffic Management Marshals and Volunteer Marshals along the route.

10k Course – Red Arrows – $30 Entry Fee until 20 September cut off, then $40 on the day

You must follow the instructions of all Traffic Management Marshals and Volunteer Marshals along the route.

5k Course – Blue Arrows – Children $10 Entry until 20 September cut off – then $20 payable on the day. Adults $20 Entry until 20 September cut off – then $30 payable on the day

Please note all Traffic Management Officials and Marshals must be obeyed at all times. Road Crossings should only be made at official crossing points.

Children may accompany adults on their bikes and scooters. Helmets must be worn at all times and must be under the supervision of their parent / minder.
