Help us welcome back the Kuaka (Bar-tailed Godwit) from their annual Asian migration to Ambury Regional Park. This event will include a talk from a New Zealand birding expert, a small afternoon tea, and a guided walk and bird observation (approximately 1km each way), all in collaboration with Birds New Zealand.

With a whole bunch of activities at Home Base (Bill and Naomi Kirk Park) … The Run, Walk, Stroll and Stride will incorporate the Village, the beautiful Kiwi Esplanade and Ambury Farm.
Repair Cafes are free events where local people bring in damaged or broken items and volunteers repair them.
Join us on Saturday 19th October between 2 – 4pm to clean up the foreshore/park down at the carpark opposite the GAS. We would love it if you could spare an hour or 2 of your time to make Māngere Bridge more beautiful.
