Community Orchard t-Budding Workshop – Sat 28th Feb, 2-4pm

As part of Friends of the Farm’s long-term plan to replicate prolific fruiting trees in our area, we’re running a new workshop to discover a different way of propagating new plants from old.

Bring with you a cutting or two from the peach, plum or apricot tree that has been giving you fruit for years in Māngere Bridge.

Richard will teach us how to take just a bud from that twig and attach it to an existing plant.  Over the next couple of years, you can watch your fruit grow from a different tree.
