Mangrove Seedling Removal Days 2026 – Saturday 13th June 11am – 1pm

Join us on the foreshore for mangrove seedling removal (60cm and smaller). Meet at the Boat Club carpark by the playground along the Kiwi Esplanade.

This work is undertaken to protect the ecology of the foreshore for the wide variety of birds and the recreational values associated with being able to access the harbour – click here for our 2026 update.

Wear old clothes, sturdy shoes, like old sneakers, reef or boat shoes.

Bring your own bucket or gloves if you have them.

Please note the different starting times due to the tide.
