Māngere Bridge Craft Group at Māngere Bridge Library
The Māngere Bridge Craft Group knits and crochets items for personal projects as well as important charities like the Middlemore Foundation.
A colourful pile of 6 blankets and 45 baby hats plus cardigans, knitted slippers, adult sized hats, knitted toys, and some tiny hats and booties for premature babies. Over 10o items in one recent workshop!!
The group meets weekly every Thursday from 2:00-4:pm and monthly every third Saturday from 2:00-3:45 pm, in the Māngere Bridge Library.
All are welcome to join in.
People can knit or crochet their own projects or produce items for local charities.
Donations of wool or cotton yarn are most welcome and can be dropped off anytime at the Māngere Bridge Library.

Friends of the Farm hosted another very successful lantern walk at Ambury Farm to celebrate Matariki. It was a huge turnout – our counters clicked nearly 300 people!
