Mission#
Comet project space is a contemporary arts hub committed to championing the exchange of ideas and acting as a space where our creative communities can collide and evolve.
Comet is intended to serve as a supportive, challenging, connective, discursive, and free space to connect with, support, and promote emerging artists, curators, and writers. Operating as a pop-up gallery we operate in an ‘opening style’ format, and utilise our non-traditional exhibition space as a dynamic site of experimentation and innovative ideas.
Māngere Bridge is a thriving, connected village with amazing community spirit.
We are lucky to be bordered by our beautiful Maunga, the sprawling Ambury Farm, a beautiful foreshore , esplanade and Manukau harbour. Our local area is well known for its walking, running and biking routes.
Our village is vibrant and inviting offering full service amenities including our community library, supermarket, restaurants , and cafes, along with a wonderful buzzing weekly Boutique market on Sundays.
Often referred by locals and visitors as “a bit of a hidden jewel in Auckland”, once people arrive they find it hard to leave. Come visit us and enjoy all that Māngere Bridge has to offer.
